Three Arrested AND Four Rescued in San Jose Human Trafficking Bust
The arrests followed a two-month probe by the department’s Human Trafficking Task Force, initiated after receiving multiple community tips. Warrants were served at homes on Palacio Royale Circle, Bonita Avenue, and Gifford Avenue on August 28, where officers found four adult female survivors of human trafficking. The women have been provided with resources and support.
Two suspects, Naisong Tong, 34, and Guihua Tao, 60, both of San Jose, were arrested that day and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on human trafficking charges. A third suspect, Zhiqiang Liu, 53, from Rosemead, was arrested in San Jose on Tuesday and faces similar charges.
The police have not yet disclosed when the suspects will appear in court. The case underscores the importance of community involvement in reporting suspected trafficking activities, which led to the successful bust.
